Bangalore stadium is best
Whilst there are many fine cricket stadiums in India there is NONE better than the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) in Melbourne, Australia. It has a capacity of 100,000, all seats, and it holds the record attendance for a single day of a match, 90,800. It also has more than 100 years of history and has held an Olympic Games and a Commonwealth Games. It is also home to the AFL Football Grand Final where 100,000 attend every year. It has also hosted a World Cup cricket Final. It is a super luxurious stadium built in the heart of the city. This stadium is truly the greatest stadium in the world with it's massive capacity and history ensuring it stays that way....
What about the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore? It is a highly preferred venu. But, i am not sure how big it is.
Raipur ground is the best new comer but its very sad to see that it has not hosted any match even in indian preamere league
EDEN GARDENS IS THE PRESTIGIOUS CRICKET STADIUM THAT GOD HAS CREATED IN THIS WORLD.

You miss vca jamtha
Humm..it good
I think your images for kozhikode, pune and raipur stadiums are not correct. In fact, the pune image is of Lancashire county cricket club's ground at old trafford in Manchester in England. Also the kozhikode and kochi ground images are of same venue the Nehru stadium. One of the biggest stadium you missed out is one at Jamtha, Nagpur, the VCA ground and other which hosted the world cup final, the newly rennovated Wankhede Stadium. Another interesting fact regarding the biggest ground in India is the commonwealth host ground in Delhi is also an official cricket venue and have hosted Ind vs SA match as well.
Chennai Stadium is the one and only Best Stadium in india...
it is a useful in my project
I feel so lucky that I've witnessed the greatest day of Indian cricket when Laxman and Dravid turned it on the Aussies on the 4th day of the 2nd test in 2001. Only possible at the Eden Gardens, the Lords of Asia, the epic. Proud to be from the city which holds Eden Gardens.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, Kerala is the home of the Kerala Cricket Team and the IPL Cricket Team, the Kochi Tuskers.
The seating capacity of Eden Gardens has been reduced to about 60,000 after the recent renovations. It is still the largest cricket stadium in India.
The blog writer has forgotten to write a few lines about the most notable stadium Wankhede of Mumbai.
This statement about Eden Gardens Stadium of Kolkata is incorrect - "Foreign players are usually at the receiving end from the spectators". There were 2 sad incidents in 2 different matches but since 1865 it is one of the most lively place to watch a match and 2 bad incidents can be excused.
An interesting and informative hub. I would never have guessed there would be yhis number of spacious cricket stadiums in India.
